The “Science and Engineering Course” is primarily for students majoring in science and engineering fields (such as mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, civil engineering, architecture, and information engineering) or design. It mainly involves assignment to work where specialized knowledge can be utilized. Initial assignments will be in areas where skills can be applied, such as the Planning and Development Department, ICT Department, and Facilities and Environment Department. In the future, depending on aptitude and other factors, transfer to departments outside these areas may be possible. You can choose between the “Open Position” and the “Area Position (Chubu Area).”
In contrast, the “General Course” is open to both humanities and science students who want to expand their possibilities while working across fields and departments. Initial assignments are determined based on what you studied as a student and your preferred work style. Your initial assignment will be to a department selected through multifaceted consideration of your preferences, aptitude, development plan, and other factors. You can choose between the “Open Position” and the “Area Position (Chubu Area or Tochigi Area).”
