COMPANY Honda Mobilityland Corporation

Since our founding in 1961, we have served as a practical field for fostering mobility culture, promoting motorsports, and developing human resources.

Established in 1962 as Japan’s first full-scale racing course, based on the car-making belief of Soichiro Honda, founder of Honda Motor, that “cars will not improve unless they race.” Conceived by Takeo Fujisawa, Suzuka Circuit has also featured an automotive amusement park and other facilities that emphasize allowing customers to drive themselves, building a 60-year history.

And Mobility Resort Motegi, which opened in 1997 under the theme of a harmonious union of people, nature, and mobility, features not only a racing course but also nature experience facilities and safe-driving promotion facilities.

Honda Mobilityland Corporation will bring together the expertise and strengths cultivated by Suzuka Circuit and Mobility Resort Motegi to create, more than ever before, a mobility culture that profoundly connects people with nature, and continue to offer joy, fun, and excitement broadly to society as it looks toward the future.

Honda Mobilityland Philosophy

Basic Principles

These summarize the fundamental values and worldview and represent the enduring beliefs of the Honda Group.

Respect for the Individual

Human beings are inherently free and unique individuals who hold dreams and hopes, think, and create in order to realize them. Respect for the Individual is the philosophy of respecting each other's independent individuality, standing in equal relationships, trusting one another, and wishing to share joy together by fully applying our abilities. From this perspective, Honda Mobilityland Corporation identifies the following three principles as the pillars of Respect for the Individual.

1. Self-reliance
It means thinking freely without being bound by preconceived notions, acting independently based on one’s own beliefs, and taking responsibility for the results.
2. Equality
It means recognizing and respecting each other’s individual differences.
3. Trust
It arises when each person recognizes one another, complements what is lacking, fulfills their own role with sincerity, and makes every effort. Honda Mobilityland Corporation aims to be an organization in which every employee can always trust one another.
The Three Joys

“The Three Joys” expresses our belief that, based on “Respect for the Individual,” we want to build relationships in which we can share joy with every person who becomes involved in the corporate activities of Honda Mobilityland Corporation.

Through our corporate activities,

  • People who buy our products (The Joy of Buying)
  • People involved in the sale, service, and operation of our products (The Joy of Selling)
  • People involved in the series of corporate activities that create products (The Joy of Creating)
